Cross-system evaluations

NOTE SEPTEMBER 2009

Cross-system evaluations

When using a CUA [Central User Administration]
some of the information system reports offer an interface
for cross-system evaluations.
One of them is the report RSUSR002.

The report can be reached via transaction SUIM
[User information system], or else by calling the
transaction RSUSR200.
Additional predefined variants are available via transactions:
RSUSR200_INITPASS
RSUSR200_PWDCHG180
RSUSR200_UNUSED30

The Receiving systems for evaluation can be selected to provide
an overview of users e.g. who have not logged in or changed their
password for a certain period of time.

The field “No. days since last logon” and
No. days since password change” expect a
numeric value for the inquiry.
For example:

The entry 30 represents the number of days the user has not logged on.

Another report for cross-system evaluations is
RSUSR_SYSINFO_ZBV.

The report allows a listing of users in the selected satellite system
and can be called via transaction S_BIE_59000198 -
Report cross-system information
The wildcard to see all users is the *.

The report RSUSR_SYSINFO_ROLE provides an overview
of user and their assigned roles in the satellite system,
an inquiry of specific roles and their assignments even
under consideration of validity is also available.
The respective transaction S_BIE_59000199 -
Report cross-system information is integrated in the SUIM as well.

Another report is RSUSR_SYSINFO_PROFILE to be called via transaction S_BIE_59000197 - Report cross-system information, also available in SUIM,
helps to evaluate cross-system profile assignments.
This is especially helpful to check on critical standard profiles
as SAP_ALL, SAP_NEW, S_A.SYSTEM, S_A.DEVELOP etc..
